SDD_148.02 DISPLAYS MISSING FILES WHEN ATTEMPTING TO COMPLETE A INCONTROL TOUCH PRO SOFTWARE UPDATE

Symptom  000101 Diagnostic Concerns

ISSUE

When attempting to complete any of the below applications with Symptom Driven Diagnostics (SDD) on software level 148.02:

• Configure existing module - InControl Touch Pro
• Configure new module - InControl Touch Pro Infotainment Master Controller
• Configure new module - InControl Touch Pro Infotainment Slave Controller

SDD displays a missing file message during software resolution and the user is unable to update the software.

CAUSE

SDD_148.02 displays a missing file message as the NGI 004.02 software installation has not been installed on SDD.

The InControl Touch Pro software level is displayed on the lower left corner alongside the SDD software level when logged in to SDD. It should display NGI:-/-/-/004.02 if at the required level.

The latest software files for InControl Touch Pro were released in NGI 004.02 at the same time as SDD_148.02 was released globally. SDD_148.02 requires the software files from the NGI 004.02 install when completing an InControl Touch Pro software update.

After SDD_148.02 was installed, SDD should have automatically background downloaded NGI 004.02. This install is required to be installed before completing an InControl Touch Pro software update using SDD_148.02.

ACTION

In the event that the user selected 'No' to install the NGI 004.02 installation, SDD will not prompt the install again until the required time period has elapsed or the machine restarted.

If the install is required immediately, please complete the below instructions.

1. Log in to SDD.
2. Select 'Continue' on the SDD Warning screen.
3. Confirm that the NGI 004.02 has completed download and is available as displayed by the Green Arrow Icon in top right hand corner.
4. Log out of SDD.
5. Close SDD application.
6. Restart the SDD machine.
7. Wait until the Install popup is displayed.
8. Select 'Yes' when SDD displays 'Do you want to install NGI 004.02'.
9. Wait until installation is complete.
10. Select 'Finish'
11. Start a new SDD session.
12. Program the InControl Touch Pro as required
13. Close the SDD session.

If the Action instructions fails to correct the missing file concern or the NGI 004.02 has not automatically background downloaded then a Diagnostic report should be submitted for further assistance.
