Removal And Installation: Removal

Connect WDS to the vehicle and up-load the relevant data.
Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to: BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES -- XK/X150 (Specifications).
Make the SRS system safe.

Remove the keyless vehicle antenna.
For additional information, refer to: Keyless Vehicle Antenna (Removal and Installation).

NOTE:

If the SRS component is to be replaced, the bar code of the new unit must be recorded.
The RCM will record and store impact data. The module must be replaced when three records are noted.

Remove the restraints control module (RCM).
