Removal And Installation: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  4. CAUTION: Before disconnecting or removing components, ensure the area around the joint faces and connections are clean. Plug open connections to prevent contamination.

    Torque Specification: 3.5 Nm

    Torque Specification: 4 Nm 

  6. CAUTION:
    • Before disconnecting any components, make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. When disconnected all openings must be sealed.
    • If brake fluid is spilled on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water.

    Torque Specification: 17 Nm 

  7. G11308731

    Torque Specification: 8 Nm 

    • Loosen but do not remove the 2 nuts.
