Cooling Module (G2218804): Removal

- Refer to: SUPPLEMENTARY RESTRAINT SYSTEM HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
- Raise and support the vehicle on a suitable 2 post lift.
Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING .
- Recover the air conditioning (A/C) refrigerant.
Refer to: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM RECOVERY, EVACUATION AND CHARGING .
- Disconnect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: 12V SYSTEM DISCONNECT .
- Remove the front compartment left trim panel.
Refer to: FRONT COMPARTMENT LEFT TRIM PANEL .
- Remove the front compartment right trim panel.
Refer to: FRONT COMPARTMENT RIGHT TRIM PANEL .
- Remove the front bumper.
Refer to: FRONT BUMPER .
- Drain the cooling system.
Refer to: ELECTRIC DRIVE COOLING SYSTEM DRAIN AND FILL .
- Drain the cooling system.
Refer to: CLIMATE CONTROL COOLING SYSTEM DRAIN AND FILL .
- Drain the cooling system.
Refer to: ELECTRIC VEHICLE BATTERY COOLANT DRAINING AND FILLING .
Remove the horn.
Remove the speaker.
Remove the cooling module air duct.
Remove the front loadspace finisher panel.
Remove the front loadspace weatherstrip seal.
Remove the front loadspace liner.
Remove the 2 front loadspace retaining bolts.
Remove the front loadspace.
Release the cable and wiring harness.
Remove the sensor retaining bolts.
Disconnect the right side lower coolant hose.
Disconnect the left side lower coolant hose.
Disconnect the left side upper coolant hose.
Disconnect the right side upper coolant hose.
Release and disconnect the cooling fan electrical connector.
- Disconnect the upper A/C pipe.
- Remove and discard the seal.
- Disconnect the lower A/C pipe.
- Remove and discard the seal.
Remove the cooling module upper mounting bracket.
Remove the cooling module.
