Ignition Timing
NOTE:
Engines are equipped with a receptacle for a magnetic probe timing light, located 9.5° ATDC. Do not use this location for timing with a conventional light.
Warm engine and allow to idle. Disconnect and plug distributor vacuum line, then check ignition timing. To adjust, loosen distributor clamp bolt and turn distributor. Check timing again after distributor bolt is tightened.
