Test SC-8C - Testing CLOCKSPRING Circuit For Open

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For appropriate wiring diagram, see appropriate chassis wiring diagram in the WIRING DIAGRAMS section.

Using DRB-II, backprobe (with connector connected) mode select sense circuit at terminal No. 4 (Red/Light Green wire)of clockspring connector. See Figure in TEST SC-2A. If voltage is less than 10 volts, replace clockspring assembly. Perform TEST SC-VER . If voltage is more than 10 volts, repair open in Red/Light Green wire. Perform TEST SC-VER .
