Liftgate Washer System

- Turn ignition switch to ACCESSORY position. Place liftgate wiper/washer switch in WASH position. Operate liftgate wiper motor. If motor does not operate, check fuse and replace if required.
- Turn ignition switch to ACCESSORY position. Unplug liftgate washer pump connector. With ignition switch OFF, measure resistance at pump connector terminal "B". If meter does not read zero ohms, repair open to ground. Measure voltage at pump connector terminal "A" with switch in WASH position position. If meter reads battery voltage, replace pump. If meter does not read battery voltage, go to next step.
- Remove switch and reconnect below instrument panel. Back probe switch connector with ignition switch in ACCESSORY position. Measure voltage at switch connector (terminal No. 1). If meter does not read battery voltage, repair open to fuse. Measure voltage at switch connector (terminal No. 4) with switch in WASH position. If meter does not read battery voltage, replace switch.
