Verification Test

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Eagle Vision, 1995 Dodge Intrepid, 1995 Chrysler New Yorker, 1995 Chrysler LHS, and 1995 Chrysler Concorde. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Reconnect all previously disconnected components and wiring. If battery or BCM has been disconnected, or any work has been performed on ATC system, ATC doors must be calibrated. Start engine and use DRB to calibrate ATC doors. DO NOT allow vehicle to move during calibration. Ensure ignition is on and use DRB to erase fault codes.
  2. Turn ignition off. Wait at least 5 seconds and then turn ignition on (engine off). Operate system that was malfunctioning to verify correct operation. If system still malfunctions, go to IDENTIFYING VEHICLE EQUIPMENT & SYSTEM PROBLEMS in the (except LHS) A/C-HEATER SYSTEM - MANUAL article in the AIR CONDITIONING & HEAT section. If ATC system operates properly, check for other trouble codes. If no code is present, testing is complete.
