Diagnostic Tests: Notes
NOTE:
Before performing self-diagnostic tests, perform a visual inspection of brake system. See PRE-DIAGNOSTIC INSPECTION .
CAUTION:
In following tests, turn ignition switch to OFF position before disconnecting or connecting any components.
NOTE:
DO NOT skip any test steps unless directed to do so, as incorrect diagnosis may result. For wire color, circuit and terminal identification referenced in testing, see WIRING DIAGRAMS . For terminal and connector identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . After completing any repairs as instructed in testing, perform TEST VER-1A to ensure problem has been rectified.
