Cluster Illumination Failure
NOTE:
Ensure communication can be established with Mechanical Instrument Cluster (MIC) and Body Control Module (BCM) before performing test procedure.
- Using scan tool, display BCM DTCs. If no cluster or dimmer illumination DTCs are set, go to next step. If scan tool displays any cluster or dimmer illumination DTCs, go to INTERIOR LIGHTING .
- Turn ignition off. Remove MIC. Remove and test all cluster illumination bulbs and sockets. Repair or replace as necessary. If bulbs and sockets are okay, replace instrument cluster printed circuit board. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST under VERIFICATION TESTS.
