Turn Signal Indicator Light Test

  1. This test assumes that exterior lighting is functioning properly. If exterior lighting is not functioning properly, correct fault(s) before continuing with this test.
  2. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  3. Reconnect battery cable. Turn hazard switch on. For inoperative right turn signal, check voltage at instrument cluster Green C1 connector terminal No. 6 (Tan wire). For inoperative left turn signal, check voltage at instrument cluster Blue C2 connector terminal No. 10 (Gray wire). Switching battery voltage should exist. If voltage is as specified, replace bulb. If voltage is not as specified, repair open circuit between multifunction switch and instrument cluster.
