Hydraulic System Bleeding
- Fill fluid reservoir to COLD level. Let settle for at least 2 minutes. Start engine and let run for a few seconds, then turn engine off. Add fluid if necessary. Repeat this procedure until fluid level remains constant.
- With engine off, raise and support front wheels. Slowly turn steering wheel right and left, lightly contacting steering stops at least 20 times. Check fluid level and add if necessary.
- Lower vehicle. Start engine and turn steering wheel slowly, lock to lock. Turn engine off and check fluid level. Add if necessary. If fluid remains foamy, let stand for a few minutes, then repeat procedure. Road test vehicle. Recheck fluid level.
