Extended Idle Switch
NOTE:
Used only with optional police package with 4.0L engine.
The extended idle switch is a rocker type switch mounted in the instrument panel. PCM will only raise idle speed when shifter is in Park or Neutral. The extended idle switch applies a ground through the PCM to raise idle speed to approximately 1000 RPM.
