Seat Belt Indicator Always On

Possible Causes:

• ACM DTC Present
• Instrument Cluster

Testing

1. Turn the ignition on. Ensure that the seat belt buckles are not damaged and are buckled. With the DRBIII(R) select MIC, in Inputs/Outputs, read the Seatbelt Lamp state. Does the DRBIII(R) display On? If yes, refer to Seat Belt symptom(s) in AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in RESTRAINTS. If no, replace the Instrument Cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS - LIBERTY article. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  .
