Body Control Module: Messaging

The BCM uses the following messages received from other electronic modules over the PCI data bus:

• Battery temperature (PCM)
• Compass mini-trip computer button status (CMTC) (premium only)
• Coolant temperature (PCM)
• Distance pulses (PCM)
• Engine speed (PCM)
• Fuel tank level (PCM)
• Fuel used (PCM)
• Intrusion Transceiver Module (ITM) commands (premium in markets where required only)
• Manifold absolute pressure (PCM)
• OK to lock (rolling locks PCM)
• SKIS status (SKIM)
• Vehicle identification number (PCM)
• Vehicle speed (PCM)
