Latch/Guide Plate: Installation

Connect the latch cable to the latch and install the latch.
Install the guide plate and install the bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 16 N.m (12 ft. lbs.).
Verify liftgate latches are timed correctly. Refer to ADJUSTMENT .
Install the insulator pad. Refer to BODY/LIFTGATE/LIFTGATE INSULATOR PAD - INSTALLATION .
