Section 18 (Power Door Locks & Remote Keyless Entry Systems): Programming: Notes

Power door lock and Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) systems offer several programmable features, which allow selection of features to suit individual preferences. Programmable features are as follows:
- Remote unlock feature allows option of having only driver's door unlock when RKE transmitter unlock button is pressed once, and liftgate to open when unlock button is pressed a second time, or all doors and liftgate to open when unlock button is pressed once.
- Remote linked to memory feature allows option of recalling stored settings using RKE transmitter unlock button and driver's door memory switch, or only from memory switch.
- Sound horn on lock feature allows option of horn sounding a short chirp as audible verification of RKE system receiving a valid lock request from RKE transmitter.
- Flash lights with lock feature allows option of lights flashing as visual verification of RKE system receiving a valid lock or unlock request from RKE transmitter.
