Ignition Systems: Notes

The ignition system consists of:
- Spark Plugs
- Ignition Coil(s)
- Powertrain Control Module
- Crankshaft Position Sensor
- 2 Knock Sensors (3.7L only)
- Camshaft Position Sensor
- The IAC motor, MAP, TP and ECT sensors also have an effect on the control of the ignition system.
