Diagnosis And Testing - Memory Switch: Notes

For complete circuit diagrams, refer to SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS .

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the driver side front door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL .
3. Disconnect the memory switch wire harness connector from the driver door module connector receptacle.
4. Use an ohmmeter to test the resistances of the memory switch in each switch position. See the Memory MEMORY SWITCH TEST  . If OK, refer to DIAGNOSIS & TESTING - MEMORY SYSTEM  . If not OK, replace the faulty memory switch.
