Latch/Guide Plate: Installation

- Connect the latch cable to the latch and install the latch.
- Install the guide plate and install the bolts.
- Tighten the bolts to 16 N.m (12 ft. lbs.)
- Verify liftgate latches are timed correctly. (Refer to ADJUSTMENTS )
- Install the insulator pad. (Refer to LIFTGATE INSULATOR PAD )
