Installation - Left Side

Install the upper control arm to the vehicle.
Install the upper control arm front bolt. See Fig 1. Tighten the bolt to 122 N.m (90 ft.lbs.).
Install the upper control arm rear bolt. See Fig 1. Tighten the bolt to 122 N.m (90 ft.lbs.).
Reconnect the battery temperature sensor to the battery tray.
Install the battery tray (Refer to ELECTRICAL/BATTERY SYSTEM/TRAY - INSTALLATION) .
Install the battery (Refer to ELECTRICAL/BATTERY SYSTEM/BATTERY - INSTALLATION) .
Reclip and mount the power center.

Install the upper ball joint nut. See Fig 1. Tighten the nut to 81 N.m (60 ft.lbs.).

4 - STEERING KNUCKLE

Install the left side tire and wheel assembly. (Refer to TIRES/WHEELS/WHEELS - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
Lower the vehicle.
Set the toe and center the steering wheel (Refer to SUSPENSION/WHEEL ALIGNMENT - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
