Front Suspension: Removal: Installation: Overview
- Install the hub bearing (3) to the knuckle.
- Install the hub bearing to knuckle and the 3 bolts then tighten to 115 N.m (85 ft. lbs.).
- Install the wheel speed sensor (Refer to BRAKES/ELECTRICAL/FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR - INSTALLATION) .
- Install the wheel speed sensor nut (2).
1 - ROTOR 2 - O-RING - Install the brake rotor (1) (Refer to BRAKES/HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL/ROTORS - INSTALLATION)

1 - CALIPER ADAPTER 2 - KNUCKLE 3 - CALIPER ADAPTER BOLTS 4 - ROTOR - Install the brake caliper adaptor (1) (Refer to BRAKES/HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL/DISC BRAKE CALIPER ADAPTER - INSTALLATION) .
- Install the caliper (1) (Refer to BRAKES/HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL/DISC BRAKE CALIPERS - INSTALLATION) .
- Install the wheel and tire assembly (Refer to TIRES/WHEELS - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.

- Position the lower suspension arm into the cradle.
- Install the rear bolts (2) and flag nuts (3) to secure the lower control arm (1) to the frame, Tighten the bolts (3) to 88 N.m (65 ft lbs).
- Install the nut and bolt for the front of the lower control arm, Tighten to 169 N.m (125 ft lbs).
NOTE: Orientation of the flag bolt is critical Flag and head of the bolt (7) must be installed on the forward side of the lower control arm.
- Install the lower clevis bolt at the lower control arm and tighten to 169 N.m (125 ft lbs).
- Install the stabilizer link (6) at the lower control arm and tighten to 115 N.m (85 ft lbs).
- Install the steering knuckle (3) to the upper ball joint (2) and tighten the nut (4) to 95 N.m (70 ft. lbs.) (Refer to SUSPENSION/FRONT/KNUCKLE - INSTALLATION) .
- Install the tire and wheel assembly.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Perform wheel alignment (Refer to SUSPENSION/WHEEL ALIGNMENT - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
