Removal - Gas Engine

WARNING: Do not open the radiator draincock with the system hot and under pressure because serious burns from coolant can occur.
  1. Disconnect negative cable from battery.
  2. Drain cooling system below upper radiator hose level. See STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove radiator core support.
  4. Disconnect upper radiator hose from radiator.
  5. Remove wiring harness bracket (2).
  6. Disconnect radiator fan electrical connector (1).
  7. Remove the radiator fan assembly screws.
  8. Detach radiator fan assembly from retaining clips.
    CAUTION: Care should be taken not to damage the radiator cooling fins and tubes during fan removal.
  9. Remove radiator fan by lifting up from the engine compartment.
