Speed Control Servo

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable at battery.

  2. Disconnect vacuum line (2) at servo. See Fig 1.
  3. Disconnect electrical connector (6) at servo. See Fig 1.
  4. Remove coolant bottle nuts/bolts. Position bottle forward a few inches.
  5. Disconnect servo cable at throttle body. Refer to CABLE - SPEED CONTROL  for Removal/Installation instructions.
  6. Remove servo bracket mounting nuts (3). See Fig 1.

  7. Remove two mounting nuts (1) holding servo cable sleeve to bracket. See Fig 2.
  8. Pull speed control cable sleeve and servo away from servo mounting bracket to expose cable retaining clip (3) and remove clip. Note: The servo mounting bracket displayed in graphic is a typical bracket and may/may not be applicable to this model vehicle. See Fig 2.
  9. Remove servo from mounting bracket. While removing, note orientation of servo to bracket.
