1 - MOUNTING BOLT

2 - THERMOSTAT HOUSING

Clean all sealing surfaces.
Position and install thermostat housing (2). Tighten bolts to 9N.m (80 lbs.in.).
NOTE: Inspect condition of all clamps and hoses, replace as necessary.
Connect coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
Install generator. Refer to Electrical - Engine Systems/Charging/GENERATOR - Installation .
Install engine cover. Refer to Engine - Installation .
Connect negative battery cable.
Fill coolant system to proper level with appropriate coolant mixture. See Standard Procedure .
Start engine and inspect for leaks.
