OVERVIEW

This bulletin involves installing a replacing the HVAC Control Module.

NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles equipped with the manual A/C and Heater Control Module (Sales Code HAA) built between December 23, 2010 (MDH 1223XX) and January 4, 2011 (MDH 0104XX).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION

Vehicles may exhibit a condition where the HVAC blower motor continues to run even if the switch is in the off position.

DIAGNOSIS

If customers complain of the symptom condition, perform the following repair procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

Replace the MTC A/C and Heater Control Module per the service information available in DealerCONNECT/TechCONNECT, Group 24 Heating and Air Conditioning > Controls > Control, A/C and Heater > Removal and Installation.

Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
