Section 510 (Engine Cooling System): Engine: Thermostat: Installation: 6.2L

- Position the thermostat (1) with the vent at the 12 o'clock position and the gasket seal (2) is fully seated.
- Install the thermostat housing. Tighten the bolts (2) to the proper specification. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the radiator hose (1) onto the thermostat housing.
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Start and warm the engine. Check for leaks. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
