Camera, Rear: Installation: Camera

NOTE:
The Rear View Camera (RVC) is secured by screws to the back of the camera bezel and may be serviced without disturbing the bezel. The camera bezel is secured to the outer surface of the deck lid by an adhesive membrane and must be replaced with a new bezel and adhesive membrane unit if damaged or removed from the deck lid.
- Reach through the access hole in the deck lid inner panel to position the Rear View Camera (RVC) (2) onto the back of the camera bezel. Verify proper alignment before installing the screws.
- Install and tighten the two screws that secure the RVC mounting tabs to the camera bezel. Tighten the screws securely.
- Reinstall the retention clip bracket (1) that secures the body of the RVC (2) to the inside of the deck lid (3).
- Reconnect the body wire harness take out to the RVC connector receptacle.
- Reinstall the trim onto the deck lid inner panel.
- Reconnect the negative cable to the battery. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), reconnect the IBS connector.
