Engine Block: FLEXPLATE: Installation

Position the flexplate (3) onto the crankshaft.
Install the spacer (2) and the bolts (1) hand tight.
Tighten the flexplate retaining bolts (1) in a criss-cross pattern to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
CAUTION:
Do not use an impact socket or a thick walled socket when removing or installing the flexplate retaining bolts, damage to the crankshaft, internal engine or the transmission may occur.
Install the transmission. Refer to INSTALLATION .
