2.0L Diesel

WARNING:
Do not open the radiator draincock with the system hot and under pressure because serious burns from coolant can occur.
NOTE:
It is not necessary to discharge the air conditioning system to remove the radiator.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the engine cover.
- Remove the air cleaner body assembly.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the front tires.
- Remove the inner splash shields.
- Remove the front bumper fascia.
- Disconnect the lower radiator hose.
- Remove the two lower fasteners attaching radiator fan shroud to radiator.
- Disconnect the Charger Air Cooler (CAC) hoses from CAC.
- Disconnect the CAC from radiator.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the grille.
- Remove the upper radiator hose from the radiator.
- Remove the remaining fasteners attaching radiator fan shroud to radiator.
- Remove the radiator fan/shroud assembly.
- Disconnect the radiator fan motor wire harness connector.
- Remove the fasteners attaching AC condenser to radiator. Reposition AC condenser.
- Unclip CAC from radiator remove radiator assembly by lifting it up from the engine compartment. Care should be taken not to damage the cooling fins and tubes during removal.
