- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the engine cover (1).

- Remove bolts (2) and the upper turbocharger heat shield (1).

- Disconnect the oxygen sensor wire harness connector (1) and remove the wire harness connector pick-tail (2) from support bracket (3).

- Remove the exhaust temperature sensor wire from lower heat shield (1).
- Remove the three bolts (1), one nut (4) and the mid upper turbocharger heat shield (1).

- Remove the oxygen sensor (1).
