Belt, Serpentine: Installation: Diesel

NOTE:

When installing accessory drive belt, be sure belt is routed around all accessories correctly.

Install belt over all pulleys except for the power steering pump pulley.
CAUTION:
Do not let the tensioner arm snap back to the freearm position, severe damage may occur to the tensioner.
Using a wrench, rotate belt tensioner (4) clockwise until belt can be installed onto power steering pump pulley. Release spring tension onto belt.
Lower vehicle from hoist.
