Tube, Water Inlet: Installation: Installation

1. Install new O-ring seal onto the water tube elbow.
2. Lubricate the O-ring seal with coolant to help aid in installation. Install elbow into the back side of the water pump.
3. Install the mounting bolts (1). Tighten the water pump bolts (1) to 12 N.m (106 in. lbs.).

4. Install the oil cooler hose (4).

5. Install the thermostat housing (4). Refer to THERMOSTAT, INSTALLATION .
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
