  1. Connect the Cooling Temperature (ECT) sensor wire harness connector (1).

  2. Using a NEW  O-ring seal, install the ECT sensor (1) into thermostat housing and push down on spring retainer to lock in place.
  3. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION .
  4. Install the engine cover. Refer to the appropriate service information article.
  5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
