Programming The Keys/FOBIKS - RFH Equipped
NOTE:
Obtain the vehicle PIN before starting the routine
NOTE:
Sitting in the vehicle with the doors closed is a requirement for this routine to complete properly.
If the vehicle is equipped with a Remote Frequency Hub (RFH), perform the following procedure to program the keys/fobiks:
- Connect the scan tool
- Connect and confirm you have a network connection.
- Navigate to the "RFH" and then "Misc Functions" menu
- To add a new FOBIK, select and perform "Enable Fobiks" and follow the screen prompts to program the keys/fobs to the vehicle.
- Make sure the keyfob that is being programmed is inside the car and away from nearby consumer electronics.
- Remove all other keyfobs from inside the car, except the keyfob that you want to program to the vehicle.
- Be prepared to press the RKE Unlock button on the keyfob when prompted towards the end of the programming routine.
