Charging System (Service Information): Generator: Installation: 3.6L
- Install the generator into the vehicle.
- Install the generator mounting retainers (1).
Tighten to the top retainers to 54 N.m (43 ft. lbs.)
Tighten to the bottom retainers to 30 N.m (22 ft. lbs.)
- Position back the B+ cable onto the generator stud.
- Install the B+ retainer (1).
Tighten to 18 N.m (13 ft. lbs)
- Install the generator electrical connector (2) and install the B+ battery stud cover (1).
- Install the serpentine belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .
- Install the air cleaner body (1). Refer to AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION
.
- Install the engine cover.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Close the hood.
