Sensor, Accelerator Pedal Position: Installation

CAUTION:
The accelerator pedal and mounting nuts need to be torqued in a mandatory torque sequence or damage could result to the pedal assembly.
- Install the accelerator pedal (2). Tighten the nuts (1) to the proper torque. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the accelerator pedal wire harness connector.
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
- Use a scan tool and perform the APPS RELEARN function.
