2.2L Diesel

- Connect the Cooling Temperature (ECT) sensor wire harness connector (1).
- Using a NEW O-ring seal, install the ECT sensor (1) into thermostat housing and push down on spring retainer to lock in place.
- Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION .
- Install the engine cover. Refer to the appropriate service information article.
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
