Injector, Diesel Exhaust Fluid: Removal

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
3. Disconnect the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) injector wire harness connector (3).
4. Disconnect the DEF fluid supply line VOSS connector (1). Refer to FITTING, QUICK CONNECT, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

5. Saturate the DEF injector bolt with Moper® Rust Inhibitor. Allow 5 minutes for penetration.
6. Loosen the clamp (1) and remove the DEF injector (2) from the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) catalyst.
