Engine Block: FLEXPLATE: Installation

- Position the flexplate (3) onto the crankshaft.
- Install the spacer (2) and the bolts (1) hand tight.
- Using a criss-cross pattern, tighten the flexplate to crankshaft retaining bolts to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .CAUTION:
Do not use an impact socket or a thick walled socket when removing or installing the flexplate retaining bolts, damage to the crankshaft, internal engine or the transmission may occur.
- Install the transmission.
