Removal And Installation: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION.
- Remove the nut and remove the heat shield (1).
- Disconnect the cam position sensor wire harness connector (1).
- Remove the nut (2) and remove the cam position sensor.
