Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

3. Disconnect the wire harness connector (1) from the fuel pump control module.
4. Remove the mounting bolts (2) and remove fuel pump control module.

INSTALLATION 

1. Position fuel pump control module onto frame rail and install bolts and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
2. Connect the wire harness connector.
3. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
4. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
