2.0L Diesel

REMOVAL 

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  2. Loosen the nut (1a) and disconnect Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) (1b) from the rear exhaust pipe.

  3. Remove the Particulate Matter (PM) sensor (1).
  4. Remove the NOx sensor 1/2 (2).

  5. Remove the exhaust temperature sensor (1).

  6. Remove the nuts (1a) and the SCR (1b).
  7. Remove and discard the gasket.

INSTALLATION 

  1. Clean all the gasket sealing surfaces.

  2. Using a NEW  gasket, install the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) (1a) to the front exhaust pipe and tighten the nuts (1b) to the proper specification Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

  3. Install the exhaust temperature sensors (1) and tighten to the proper specification Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

  4. Install the Particulate Matter (PM) sensor (1) and tighten to the proper specification Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Install the NOx sensor (1/2) (2) and tighten to the proper specification Refer to DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID EMISSIONS, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .

  6. Install the rear exhaust pipe to the SCR (1a) and tighten the exhaust clamp nut (1b) to the proper specification Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  7. Remove support and lower the vehicle.
  8. Using a scan tool, perform SCR System Catalyst Reset  function found under MISCELLANEOUS FUNCTIONS.
