Insulator, Engine Mount, Front: Installation

NOTE:
Apply Mopar® Lock and Seal Adhesive, Medium Strength Threadlocker to the engine mount bracket to engine block bolts.
- If removed, position the engine mount bracket (2) to the engine block, install the retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.).
- Position the engine mount (2), install the retaining bolts/nuts (1) and tighten to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Using the Engine Support Fixture (special tool #8534C, Fixture, Driveline Support), lower the engine onto the engine mounts (1).
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Install both engine mount retaining nuts (2) and tighten to 61 N.m (45 ft. lbs.).
- If equipped, install the skid plate. Refer to PLATE, SKID, TRANSFER CASE, INSTALLATION

- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the Engine Support Fixture (special tool #8534C, Fixture, Driveline Support) (1).
- Remove the Engine Lift Fixture (special tool #8984B, Fixture, Engine Lifting) (2).
- Install the oil control valve (3) into the cylinder block.
- Ensure that the O-ring is fully seated into the cylinder block.
- Securely tighten the oil control valve retaining bolt (2).
- Connect the oil control valve electrical connector (1).
- Install the a/c compressor. Refer to COMPRESSOR, A/C, INSTALLATION, 5.7L/6.4L ENGINES .
- If removed for right side mount replacement, install the generator. Refer to GENERATOR, INSTALLATION, 5.7L .
- Install the intake manifold. Refer to MANIFOLD, INTAKE, INSTALLATION .
- Install the engine cover.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Start the engine and check for leaks.
