Engine Block: FLEXPLATE: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the flexplate bolts (3) and discard.
    CAUTION:

    Do not use an impact socket or a thick walled socket when removing or installing the flexplate retaining bolts, damage to the crankshaft, internal engine or the transmission may occur.

  3. Remove the washer (2).
  4. Remove the flexplate (1).
