Engine Block: FLEXPLATE: Installation

  1. Remove all sealant residues.

  2. Install the flexplate (1a) and tighten the new bolts (1b) in crisscross pattern to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
  3. Remove the (special tool #10272, Tool, Flywheel Locking).
  4. Install the transmission. Refer to INSTALLATION .
