Valve, Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION (EGR): Installation
- Install a NEW O-ring (2) making sure it is in the right position before installation.
- Install the EGR valve by gently pressing down on the top side (1) and tighten the bolts to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
.
- Connect the EGR valve wire harness connector (1).
- Install the EGR cold hose and tighten clamp securely.
- Install the air outlet pipe. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
NOTE:
Perform EGR valve re-learn procedure if replacing with new.
