Temperature Sensor

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING  .
  3. Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL .

  4. Disconnect the charge air coolant temperature sensor wire harness connector (1).

  5. Lift the locking clip (1) and turn clockwise to remove the charge air coolant temperature sensor (2).
