Insulator, Engine Mount, Rear: Removal

  1. Remove the left front wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to REMOVAL .

  2. Remove the fastener (1) and remove the negative battery cable (2) from the transmission (3).
    CAUTION:

    Failure to remove the negative battery cable may overstress to the cable due to bending during service.

  3. Remove the exhaust crossunder pipe. Refer to 3.2L .

  4. Remove the transmission torque strut to pivot bracket bolt and nut (1).

  5. Remove the transmission torque strut to crossmember bolt (1).

  6. If required, remove the transmission pivot bracket bolts (1) and remove the transmission pivot bracket.
