Capacitor, Ignition: Installation: 2.4L

1. Install the ignition capacitor (1) to the front of the cylinder head and tighten the stud bolt (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).

2. Connect the wire harness connector (1).

3. Install the capacitor heat shield (1) and tighten the nut (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).
4. Install the engine cover. Refer to INSTALLATION .
5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
